Algonquin Highlands hosts tree-lighting celebrations
Algonquin Highlands will host three tree-lighting celebrations as the holiday season approaches! Come out and enjoy some hot chocolate, carol singing and of course . . . a visit from Santa Claus!
The Stanhope event will take place Friday, November 29 at 6 p.m. outside the AH Administrative Office on North Shore Road. The Dorset tree-lighting will happen Sunday, December 1 at 4 p.m. at Lions Centennial Park. In Oxtongue Lake, the festivities will take place at the Community Centre on Friday, December 6 p.m.
Residents are asked to bring a travel mug to enjoy their hot chocolate. Mark your calendars, and see you there!
