Call for Volunteers: Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival

The Dorset Snowball Winter Carnival is one of Algonquin Highlands’ biggest events of the year, and the Township is seeking volunteers to ensure this year’s Snowball is another success.

Snowball takes place on Friday, Feb. 16 and Saturday, Feb. 17, during the Family Day Weekend. We are looking for volunteers to fill a number of positions including gate attendants, skating party attendants, activity attendants, a parade organizer and a mascot. Shifts as short as half an hour are available, so if you are able to donate some time to help facilitate this fun family event, we kindly ask you contact the Parks, Rec and Trails department by emailing recreation@algonquinhighlands.ca
