End of Declaration of Significant Weather Event

The significant weather event declared for the Township of Algonquin Highlands on January 9, 2024 has been lifted as of noon on January 10. 

Municipal workforces will continue to provide maintenance operations. The Township of Algonquin Highlands advises all drivers to please remain a safe distance back from maintenance equipment and drive according to conditions. Please be aware for the following weeks crews will be out pushing snow banks and widening roads.
