Grand opening of Dorset library branch on Friday, Oct. 25

There will be a grand opening celebration for the new Dorset branch of the Haliburton County Public Library this Friday, Oct. 25, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a ribbon-cutting ceremony scheduled for 1 p.m.

The branch is located on the lower level of the Dorset Recreation Centre at 1051 Main Street, Dorset. After a soft opening on Oct. 11, the branch is now operational. The Dorset branch is open Wednesday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
