Holiday hours at Algonquin Highlands facilities

Administration

The Algonquin Highlands Administrative Office at 1123 North Shore Road will close to the public at noon on Friday, Dec. 22, re-opening at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 2. The AH Trails Office at 20130 Highway 35 North will be closed during the same time period. 

Parks, Recreation and Trails

Hiking trails remain open at all times. Once conditions allow, ski trails will be open through self-registration at the trail head. You can check conditions on the Ski and Snowshoe Trails page of the Algonquin Highlands website. 

Once conditions allow for the Township's outdoor skating rinks to open, you can check conditions on the Skating and Outdoor Rinks page. 

Waste Disposal

All Algonquin Highlands waste disposal sites will be closed for Christmas Day on Monday, Dec. 25 and New Year's Day on Monday, Jan. 1. Regular Tuesday hours will be in effect on Boxing Day. You can view waste disposal site hours on the Waste Disposal Sites page of the Township website.
