Households Hazardous Waste events in AH

There will be three household hazardous waste collection events at Algonquin Highlands waste disposal sites this summer and fall. Dates, locations and times are as follows: 

• Saturday, August 24 - Oxtongue Lake Waste Disposal Site, 1 to 5 p.m. 
• Saturday, September 14 - Dorset Transfer Station, 1 to 5 p.m. 
• Saturday, October 12 - Maple Lake Waste Disposal Site, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

A reminder that Algonquin Highlands residents may attend any household hazardous waste collection events throughout the County of Haliburton - just ensure you have your landfill user ID card with you. The next event will take place this Saturday, July 27 at the Haliburton Landfill Site at 222 Industrial Park Road in Haliburton Village from 8 a.m. until noon.
