NOTICE: Special Meeting of Council - Thursday, Jan. 23

TAKE NOTICE that there will be a Special Meeting of Council on Thursday, January 23, 2025, at 11:30 a.m. 

The purpose of the meeting is to:

• Appoint an Acting Fire Chief; and
• To proceed into closed session to discuss Litigation or potential litigation, including matters before administrative tribunals, affecting the municipality or local board in accordance with Sec. 239 (2)(e) of the Municipal Act, 2001, S.O. 2001, as amended. (Legal Matter Update)

The meeting will be held in the Council Chambers located at 1123 North Shore Road, Algonquin Highlands. For convenience, members of public may observe the open portion of the Council proceedings by joining a live-stream link.
