Spin the Lakes Cycle Tour to pass through Dorset

Dorset area residents will notice a significant amount of cyclist traffic this weekend as the Huntsville-based Spin the Lakes Cycle Tour takes place on Saturday, May 25. A fundraiser for the Canadian Mental Health Association, hundreds of cyclists are registered to take part in this event, which features four routes, one of which passes directly through the hamlet of Dorset.

Tapscott-Lopes Park on Main Street will be used as a rest stop throughout the day, so residents should expect to see cyclists in the park as well as on the roads. If you are driving in the area, please keep an eye out for them.
