Stanhope & Community Fly-In to Spring 2024

The Township of Algonquin Highlands is hosting a spring fly-in at the Stanhope Municipal Airport on Saturday, May 4 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Stanhope & Community Fly-In to Spring 2024 will feature a spectacular array of antique aircraft, Algonquin Highlands Fire Services trucks and equipment, MNRF firefighters, model planes, a variety of food and drinks and more. General admission is free. For a fee, visitors will also be able to see the blooming Haliburton Highlands landscape from above with an airplane or helicopter ride.

Airport events are organized and hosted by the Stanhope Municipal Airport Advisory Committee, and members are already planning a summer fly-in event for Saturday, July 13, and a fall colours fly-in for Saturday, September 28.

The Stanhope Municipal Airport is located at 1168 Stanhope Airport Road.
