Grab your hat, sunglasses and sunscreen and head to Stanhope on Saturday, July 13 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for the Stanhope Airport and Community Summer Fly-In!
Supported by the Stanhope Municipal Airport Advisory Committee, this fun-filled summer favourite will feature a wide array of classic, experimental and unique aircraft; a great
variety of food including stone-fired pizza, chicken, Thai food, hamburgers and hotdogs; model aircraft; firefighting equipment and much more.
There will be local vendors and artisans on site, and an auto extrication demonstration by Algonquin Highlands Fire Services is scheduled to take place at 1 p.m. Airplane and
helicopter rides will be available for a fee for those who wish to see the Haliburton Highlands from above.
The annual Fall Colours Fly-In is scheduled for Saturday, September 28. The fall event will include a classic car show.
