Self-Guided Hikes

Self-guided hikes are accompanied by a guide book which corresponds to numbered posts along the trail where a hiker stops, reads the guide book and gains knowledge and insight into the natural environment and the processes taking place right in front of them.

Self-guided hikes begin at the Algonquin Highlands Trails Office where guide books can be obtained.
