Stanhope Municipal Airport to host Transport Canada Recency Seminar
The Township will host a Transport Canada Recency Seminar at the Airport on Thursday, May 14 from 7 to 9 p.m. Intended for pilots, this safety seminar will include practical tools, tips and best practices for decision-making, a series of aviation safety topics and support for meeting pilot recency requirements under CARs (Canadian Aviation Regulations).

AH facility closures for Wednesday, March 11, 2026
Please note that as a result of the Declaration of a Significant Weather Event issued by the Township of Algonquin Highlands at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, March 10, all Algonquin Highlands waste disposal sites will be closed on Wednesday, March 11.
